At the heart of our work is the desire to support schools and communities in identifying the most effective ways to help Haitian students achieve success.

Overview

PD Leaders offers a wide range of professional services including instructional design, research, program evaluation, and professional development for k-16 school communities.  We aim at conducting research and developing programs that focus on issues facing students and families of Haitian and African descent.  Experts from PD Leaders LLC have decades of combined experience in research, professional development, bilingual education, leadership, elementary, secondary, and higher education, with a long list of clients that includes:

Haitian Studies Institute, Brooklyn College, CUNY: Technical assistance in cultural initiatives and research projects.

New York City Department of Education: Professional development, special enrichment programs, bilingual/multicultural programs, performing arts programs, and parent development programs in various school districts.

New York State Education Department: Translation of math and science curriculum materials and regents exams.

Our intent is to assist in finding best practices that help teachers, and administrators in their effort to create a welcoming and adequate learning environment for Haitian students and their families.  PD LEADERS is ready to join any effort geared toward improving lives in the Haitian community.
